The area

This area of Piemonte is known as the Monferrato. Within easy reach are Golf Courses, Hot Thermal Spas, Several Castles, Roman Ruins, Horse Riding, Museums, Antique Markets and Wine Tasting.
The beach at Pegli is only 35 minutes by car from Ovada, as is Genova Airport, The City of Genova is 40 minutes away, with its Aquarium, Museums, Palazzi, Galleries and boat trips to the Cinque Terre.
Ovada has its own access to the motorway network being on the Genova - Alessandria A26 motorway. Trisobbio is a 15 minutes drive from Ovada over and around the undulating hills of the Monferrato. Ovada railway station links to Genova, Alessandria and Acqui Terme.
Acqui Terme is 15 minutes drive in the opposite direction to Ovada. It offers splendid architecture, fountains, spas, shops, restaurants and bars.
